Teaching Skills Workshop | Writing Multiple Choice Questions (Part 2 of a 3-part series)
This one hour workshop, the second of a three-part series, will outline the processes for developing effective test questions. This part of the series will focus on writing good multiple choice questions.  Participants are encouraged to bring some of their own questions to analyze and revise as an exercise during the session. Although this is part of a series on writing objectives and test questions, you are welcome to attend any part of the series.

By the end of this interactive workshop, participants will be able to:
Discuss two primary guidelines in the development of exam questions
Discuss at least 10 guidelines for multiple choice questions
Describe the interpretation of an item test analysis
Analyze examination questions to determine if they are measuring the specific content desired
Formulate test items that will measure the stated instructional objectives in an instructional unit.
