Have you struggled with the idea of creating an effective scientific poster for any reason? Come learn the essentials for creating an eye-catching winning scientific poster. An effective scientific poster is not just a standard research paper stuck to a board. An effective poster uses a different, visual grammar. It shows, not tells: [1] It avoids visual chaos, with many jagged edges or various-sized boards that distract the viewer; [2] All elements are easily visible from 4 feet away; [3] It displays the essential content - the messages - in the title, main headings and graphics.
Bring your ideas for a poster you want or have designed. Use an electronic format you can change. A flash drive and your own computer are essential. For persons who preregister a sample template will be sent to you to use.
