The recent events in our nation brought to our attention in a drastic and graphic manner the reality of systemic issues of inequity, disparity, and prejudice associated with race and ethnicity.  We are challenged to take a serious look at and within ourselves as well as into what we do as faculty members in a health professions educational environment.  This workshop will promote discussion of issues of inclusion and diversity in terms of curricular and teaching practices.  Participants will engage in an open and practical conversation regarding institutional racism in science and medicine and reflect on their role as educators in promoting anti-racism in their educational practice.
